Description

 

Native (non-modified) allergenic extracts for specific immunotherapy.  Prepared in glycerol for oral (sublingual) administration in spray.

 

 

Medical composition

Active substance: non modified allergenic extracts formulated under medical prescription.
Excipients: glycerol, sodium chloride, flavour and water for injection.

Biological standardisation

Inmunotek standarizes its allergenic extracts in biological units (BU) following the Nordic guidelines. The biological concentration of extracts used in Oraltek is given in Therapeutic Units (TU)/mL. 10,000 TU/mL are equivalent to 10,000 BU/mL.

Indications

Rhinitis, conjunctivitis and/or asthma due to type 1 hypersensitivity (IgE-mediated) caused by available allergens.

Presentation form

• Two vials with a single concentration (30,000 UT/mL). Volume 9 mL. Each puff delivers 0.1 mL.
